Formation of knowledge about the psychology of behavior of civilians and military personnel in special (stressful, extreme) conditions, as well as extrapolation of psychological knowledge about personality and group behavior to them. Developing the skills to independently conduct psychodiagnostic and consultative work with individuals who have experienced extreme, traumatic situations. Formation of skills to responsibly carry out psychological support for extreme professional behavior and correction of its consequences.
Learning outcomes:
Know the classification of psychological problems in military psychology and the impact of war and other special conditions on the human psyche.
Be able to diagnose acute emotional states during extreme events and know how to help people recover from these states.
Be able to diagnose post-traumatic conditions and have methods for working with such conditions. Know the content and main directions and technologies of prevention and overcoming stressful and post-stress psycho-emotional states that arise due to inadequate extreme behavior.
