Forms of teaching: lectures, seminars and colloquiums, practical and laboratory classes in small groups, practice, consultations with teachers.
Methods, techniques, technologies: anamnestic, clinical, laboratory, radiological and functional diagnostic methods according to medical care protocols; technologies for diagnostics, treatment and prevention of diseases of the population, management and organization of work in the field of healthcare, foundations of scientific and research work.
Current and final control.
Forms of final control: tests, differentiated tests, exams, certification in the form of a unified state qualification exam, including OSP(K)I.
In the process of assessing learning outcomes, it is mandatory to adhere to objectivity, systematicity and unity of requirements, transparency and accessibility of the assessment methodology.
Student academic achievements are assessed using 4-point, 200-point scales, and the ECTS rating scale.
Scientific and pedagogical workers involved in the implementation of the educational component of the educational and professional program have qualifications, according to their specialty, a scientific degree or academic title, and a confirmed level of sufficient scientific and professional activity. The vast majority of scientific and pedagogical workers are full-time employees of the University of Medicine and Social Sciences , teachers of clinical departments are practicing specialists, all of whom are fluent in the state and foreign languages.
Meets the requirements for the material and technical base for carrying out educational activities in the field of higher education in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Approval of the Licensing Conditions for Carrying Out Educational Activities of Educational Institutions” dated December 30, 2015 No. 1187 as amended by Resolution of the CMU No. 365 dated March 24, 2021).
UMSS is equipped and provided with the necessary number of premises for conducting the educational process. Lecture halls are equipped with multimedia boards and projectors, academic disciplines are supported by clinical facilities, computer classes, modern laboratories and innovative equipment.The Simulation Equipment Center is used to practice practical skills.
Each component of the educational program and curriculum is supported by developed work programs and syllabi. Students are fully provided with educational and methodological materials for all disciplines, including practice; methodological materials for conducting certification of students. The library collection is annually replenished with new domestic and foreign publications on medical topics and fully meets the needs of applicants.
