Department of Pharmacy

Born on March 7, 1964, in Kharkiv. In 1987, she graduated from Kharkiv Polytechnic University with honors. In 2002, she graduated from the National Pharmaceutical Academy of Ukraine and received a pharmacist qualification. From 2003 to 2009, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Pharmacology at the National Pharmaceutical University. In 2006, she defended her thesis on “Experimental justification of the rational selection of modern and promising drugs with anti-inflammatory effects.” In 2010, she received the academic title of associate professor of the Department of Pharmacology. In 2011, she defended her doctoral dissertation on “Organotropic effects of recombinant interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (experimental study).” In 2013, she received the title of professor of the Department of Pharmacology. From 2013 to August 2020, she worked as a professor in the Department of Pharmacology, and from 2020 to August 2024, she worked as a professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy at the National University of Pharmacy. Since September 2024, she has been the head of the Department of Pharmacy at the Kharkiv University of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

I am the author and co-author of 350 scientific publications, including 4 textbooks on pharmacology, 26 manuals, 1 monograph, 16 patents, 4 methodological recommendations, and 8 information letters. Under my supervision, 3 candidate dissertations and 12 master’s theses have been defended.

I studied at the Linguistic Center of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and my English language proficiency is Upper-Intermediate (level B2).

I am a member of the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR) and the Association of Pharmacologists of Ukraine. For 20 years, I was the scientific secretary of the Expert Problem Commission “Pharmacy” of the Ministry of Health and the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, and a member of the scientific council in the specialty D. 64. 605.03 – pharmacology, held the position of deputy chair of the approval academic council in the specialty D. 64.605.03, during 2020-2022 worked as scientific secretary of the academic council in the specialty D. 64.605.03. She was awarded an honorary diploma from the National University of Pharmacy (2014) and a letter of appreciation for her active participation in the METROSCHOOL project “The Magical World of Pharmacy” (2023).
